Return and Refund Policy
Change of mind returns
- Clearance items and Value Pack items may not be returned for change of mind, but of course still retain their warranty under the Consumer Guarantees Acts
- For all other purchases you may return them for a change of mind, as long as they are in new, unused, unwashed condition within 14 days of purchase for store credit. Postage costs will not be refunded.
Ex-Hire Item returns
- Retired hire items are not able to returned except due to faults under Consumer Guarantees Act. If upon arrival you are not happy with the condition and believe that it was not fairly categorised, please get in touch so we can make it right.
Warranties
- All of the products are covered under the Consumers Guarantees Act.
- Each product is covered by individual warranty from the Manufacturer, and these differ
- If an item is faulty or a fault develops, please contact us. Items are covered by the individual manufacturers for faults for 12 months from purchase. We will contact the individual manufacturer, and we are often able to offer a replacement, store credit or a refund. Items often covered by warranty- Elastic, snaps, waterproofing, sewn seams, zips.
- Warranties generally do not cover general wear and tear that happens over the hard life of a nappy. Warranties do not cover leaks unless there is a defect in the nappy. Leaks are generally caused by either poor fit, not changing regularly enough, or requiring more absorbency. Get in touch, we can help!
Shipping Returns
To return your product, make sure you have contacted us first to ensure it is able to be returned, then you should mail your product to: Nappy Mojo, 34 Redvers Drive, WGN, Lower Hutt 5010, New Zealand
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Trial Terms and Conditions
By paying your bond, you are agreeing to:
- Keep your home smokefree whilst hiring from Nappy Mojo
- Wash dirty nappies at least every 3 days (Or 4 days with a prewash cycle on day 2)
- Not use fabric softeners on the nappies (Detergents with fabric softener in them are ok though)
- Not wash nappies with any dark coloured clothing items
- Not wash nappies over 60 degrees
- Inform us of any lost or damaged items as soon as possible
Contents of Packs
- Trial nappies will be brand new and unwashed
Trial Period
- Trial end date will be 18 days after your hire pack is sent, but please use the nappies as soon as they arrive
- Let us know if your trial pack has not arrived after 4 days
- If you decide to return the nappies or one of the nappies, package must be booked for return on or before the end date.
Bond
- Your bond is refundable at the end of your hire period given that your pack is returned on-time, in full, and is in 'acceptable condition’
- OR Bond may be used to purchase the nappies for after your trial.
Returning trial nappies
- You may just your own courier service, or book a return through us.
'Acceptable condition' of returned items
- All items must be clean and properly dry before return
- Please remove fluff, hair and lint from velcro
- Some light staining is ok and will not affect your deposit being refunded
- Excessive staining, strong smells, dye transfer, staining from things other than baby poop, or unwashed nappies will result in some or all of your bond money being retained by us for the purpose of extra laundering/ nappy replacement.
- If a nappy is damaged during your hire period, let us know as we may be able to return it to the manufacturer if its faulty. If you continue to use it and return it to us damaged, you will be charged the full retail value for replacement
- If one or more nappies, or parts of a nappy are not returned or are damaged due to ill treatment, you will be charged the full retail value for replacement
- If the bond is not enough to cover damage or missing items, or if you have utilised your bond for purchases, you will be sent an invoice which must be paid within one week. If this invoice is not paid within one weeks, we reserve the right to pass your details on to a debt collection agency. In this case you will be required to pay the invoice and the debt collection fees.
Lay-By Terms and Conditions
- Our Lay-By is a traditional Lay-by, items will not be sent until they are paid for.
- 20% deposit is payable within 2 days of invoice
- If you do not complete your payments by the due date, or change your mind on the purchase, the money you have paid will be refunded to you with $20 being retained for time spent, and loss of business whilst holding your items.
