Collection: Munchkins

We are 2 Mums (Lisa and Bex) from the Bay of Plenty with a passion for minimising waste and making babies affordable. 

Lisa started our original brand “Baby Tree” in 2018 with a friend (T), just weeks after their babies were born. “We only used disposables for three weeks. Our bin filled up so fast and it was the middle of summer. It was disgusting”… From there, the idea just evolved! 

T decided to step away to focus her time and energy on her little boy, with number 2 on the way. This left room for Bex to join the Baby Tree team April 2019. 

As our brand developed and grew, the name Baby Tree no longer fit. After a morning discussing how our little “Munchkins” seemed to be darlings by day and disco dancing demons by night – the brand “Munchkins” was born!

Our products are all designed here in Whakatane. All our products go through multiple stages of design and testing before we release them for sale. We love getting feedback from our valued customers – as we are always striving to improve our products and make parent life a little bit easier!
