NappyMojo Hire Terms and Conditions 11/2017
• By paying your bond, you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. We are very reasonable people, so let us know of any problems along the road, all we want is to keep your Mojo flowing and protect our precious nappies for the next precious baby who will use them.
Conditions of Hire
• Your home must be smokefree to hire from NappyMojo
• You agree to wash dirty nappies at least every 3 days
• You agree not to use fabric softeners (Detergents with fabric softener in them are ok though)
• You agree to inform us of any lost or damaged items as soon as possible
• You agree to turn to us for wash advice, rather than turning to Google.
Contents of Packs
• If advertised as 'Brand New', all items will be brand new, unused and unwashed (Can be prepped for you if you purchase have this service). Buckets and some parts of guides will be sanitised and reused. Sanitised packs will sometimes contain brand new items which need to be prepped by washing.
• Contents of your pack will be the same as advertised at the time of booking, if anything was to change in this pack we will inform you and come to an agreement together.
• You may specify a choice of gender or a neutral pack. All packs will contain bright colours and some prints. Boys packs will contain more blues, darker colours and boyish prints. Girls packs will contain a few more pink, purples and girly prints, but neither gender choice is overtly gendered. Both will have yellows, greens, oranges and unisex prints. We can not guarantee which prints or colours you will get, but feel free to make a request. Pack photos are an example of what your pack may look like.
Bond
• Your bond is refundable at the end of your hire period given that your pack is returned on-time, in full, and is in 'acceptable condition'.
• As soon as the bond is paid, your pack will be booked and reserved for you.
• If you change your mind before the pack is sent out, you will be refunded all of hire price and a portion of the bond. $40 will be retained for time and processing costs, decrease in value of the items and loss of business.
• If you change your mind after hire pack is sent out, bond will be refunded on return of pack.
• 100% of bond will be refunded for loss of pregnancy or stillbirth
Hire Price
• The hire price can be paid at any time or in weekly/monthly instalments (If lay-by is selected) but must be completely paid off before your pack is sent.
• The hire price can be refunded if you change your mind before the nappies are sent out.
• If you change your mind at any time after the nappies are sent out, but before you use them; we will retain $40 for time and processing costs, decrease in value of the items and loss of business. The remaining hire price will be divided into weeks for your hire and you will be refunded the appropriate percentage of the remaining hire price. For example, if you hired a $200 10 week pack and returned them after two weeks, you would be refunded $128 and your bond. The nappies must be unused and in brand new condition. If you select the “preped brand new” option, prepping charge will be retained.
• If you have used the nappies we will not be able to refund the hire price, as the nappies are now in used condition.
Hire Period
• Hire period is 10 weeks for Newborn packs, or 6 weeks for OSFM packs
• If brand new, nappies will need two washes to be prepared for use (Instructions will come with your pack). We can prepare the nappies for you at an additional cost.
• If Excellent Condition Gently Used Nappies are selected, nappies will arrive with no stains, smells or damage. Nappies have been soaked and sanitised to extremely high standards.
• Newborn packs- If your baby is born very large and you feel some of the nappies are too small, let us know before you use them and we will endeavour to send you something more suitable.
• Newborn packs- Many people will find the nappies still fit well at the end of the 10 weeks, if you would like to extend the hire period by 4 weeks let us know.
• Newborn packs- If you have fallen in love with the nappies and would like to buy them to keep for your next baby, we can definitely work something out.
• Newborn packs- If your baby is born early and you would like your pack sent, we will be happy to do this as our schedule allows, given that it is completely paid off.
• Newborn packs- If you choose to start from birth, the pack will be sent around 2 weeks before your due date. If you choose to start from 2 weeks, you will need to inform us of the babies birthdate, the nappies will then be sent to arrive around 2 weeks of age.
Shipping
• Parcels are our responsibility until you receive them.
• You will need to organise shipping back to us, you can use any company but this must be tracked post, as the parcel is your responsibility until it is returned to us. If you're in Wellington, let us know, we have drop off points in the Hutt Valley, Eastern suburbs and Porirua. Or we can arrange a courier pick up for non-rural addresses
• Nappies, boosters, clearfile and bucket must be returned on the due date. If the postmark on the package reads more than three days after the due date, you will be charged $15 a day until the items are returned.
'Acceptable condition' of returned items
• All items must be clean and properly dry before return. Sending damp nappies will not be accepted. Just let us know if you are running late with getting them cleaned
• Please remove fluff, hair and lint from velcro
• Some light staining is normal and will not affect your deposit being refunded
• Excessive staining, strong smells, staining from things other than baby poop, or unwashed nappies will result in some or all of your deposit money being retained by us for the purpose of extra laundering/ nappy replacement
• If a nappy is damaged during your hire period, let us know as we may be able to return it to the manufacturer if its faulty. If you continue to use it and return it to us damaged, you will be charged the full retail value for replacement
• If one or more nappies are not returned or are damaged due to ill treatment, you will be charged the full retail value for replacement
• If the deposit is not enough to cover damage or missing items, you will be sent an invoice which must be paid within two weeks. If this invoice is not paid within two weeks, we reserve the right to pass your details on to a debt collection agency. In this case you will be required to pay the invoice and the debt collection fees.
