- To make clean up easier. Liners can catch some or all of the poop, to make it easier to either throw the liner away, or rinse it off. Some people find that liners aren't necessary with breastfed newborns, as the liquid poop goes straight through the liner anyway! Experiment!
- To protect cloth nappies from barrier creams. Thick white creams containing Zinc Oxide or ointments containing petroleum can build up on the nappy and cause problems with absorbency.
- To prevent rashes by keeping the skin dry. Microfleece liners stay dry against the skin, so can be used in nappies that don't have their own 'staydry' layer. Disposable liners are not 'staydry'.
All NappyMojo hire packs come with micro fleece reusable liners, they are super soft against babies skin, can make clean up easier and are "stay dry" Disposable liners can be bought online and in the supermarket, beware that plumbers are not fans of "flushable" liners. They do take a fair while to breakdown, and can cause blockages if flushed regularly.
